Who we are
Isopolis is made by IsoGames, the trade name of Jorge Muñoz Lozano, who is responsible for the app, for this website and for this policy — the data controller, in the words of the EU’s GDPR. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean IsoGames.
You can reach us at info@isopolis.app.
What the app collects
Nothing. Isopolis doesn’t collect, sell or share any personal data, and it doesn’t track you across other apps or websites.
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- No advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools.
- No servers of our own: the game never sends anything to us, and you can play it offline.
The only connections the app makes go to the App Store or Google Play: to ask for the price of the full game or for the purchases on your account, and when you buy or restore it.
What stays on your device
Your cities — ten save slots plus an autosave — and your settings, such as language, sound, vibration and colour filter, are saved in the app’s private storage on your device. We can’t see them, and deleting the app deletes them.
To remember the full game when you’re offline, the app also saves a seal on your device: a one-way code made from the product name and an identifier that your device’s system gives the app, so the unlock can’t be copied to another device. Neither the seal nor the identifier ever leaves your device.
If you back up your device, for example with iCloud Backup, the system may include the game’s files in that backup, under your own account. Isopolis itself doesn’t sync with iCloud or any other cloud service.
Purchases
Isopolis offers one in-app purchase, the Full game. It is sold and processed entirely by Apple, through the App Store, or by Google, through Google Play.
We never receive your name, email address, Apple Account or Google Account, or any payment details. The app only gets the store’s confirmation of what your account has bought, and uses it to save on your device that the full game is unlocked; that confirmation is never sent to us. “Restore purchases” simply asks the store again.
Apple and Google handle your payment under their own policies: the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
The stores give developers sales and download reports and, only if you have chosen to share them with developers, crash reports. We use them only to see how the game is doing and to fix bugs, never to identify anyone.
Vibration and permissions
The game can give a short vibration when you tap, and you can turn it off in Settings. It only plays the effect: it doesn’t read or record anything.
Isopolis doesn’t ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, location or contacts, and it doesn’t ask to track you.
This website
isopolis.app has no cookies, analytics, ads or tracking scripts. The only thing it stores in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, and only if you pick one with the button in the footer; it never leaves your device. Its font is served from this same domain, so visiting the site sends no requests to Google or any other third party.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the service from abuse, and may keep it in its logs for a limited time. It does this as our service provider, under its privacy policy, and may process this data outside the EU with the safeguards described there. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
If you sign up for the newsletter, we keep your email address to send you Isopolis news (new buildings, updates and launches), and nothing else. It is stored with Resend, our email provider, under its privacy policy, which may process it outside the EU with the safeguards described there. The legal basis is your consent: you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to info@isopolis.app, and we will delete your address.
Children
Isopolis collects no personal data from anyone, children included. On a child’s device, purchases follow the parental controls set up with Apple or Google, such as Ask to Buy or Family Link purchase approvals.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Since we hold none about you, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or erase: the data on your device is yours, and deleting the app removes it. Your purchase records are kept by Apple or Google, so requests about them go to the store.
If you email us, we use your address and your message only to answer you, and delete them once they’re no longer needed. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Isopolis needs data it doesn’t collect today, we’ll update this policy before that version is released and explain what changed. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
